Florida Prosperity Partnership...
Driving the Difference
The Florida Prosperity Partnership, through its more than one hundred partner organizations (see Membership), collaborates to achieve economies of scale and leverage the results of its individual organizations, thereby increasing its combined outcomes for improving the financial stability and well-being of Floridians.
One of the major programs FPP partners practice is free income tax preparation through a volunteer network. In the past three years, the partner organizations have prepared more than half a million free tax returns and have brought refunds to Floridians of half a billion dollars.
Even more significant, the amount of Earned Income Tax Credit brought into Florida – federal money that requires no state or local match – has been in excess of $100 million. That money will help Florida families stay afloat in these tough times. (See Find a Free Service for FPP’s other initiatives)
