This interactive, one-hour virtual session is part of an ongoing series designed to support anybody who is any way connected to operating a VITA/Free Tax Prep site in the state of Florida.

The topic for the November 2017 virtual sharing session is "Tax Time Is Right Around the Corner!"

    Topics include:

    • A Hurricane Irma impact update
    • Innovative use of VITA site roles
    • Integrated Services ideas and offerings
    • Effective learning models for Volunteer Certification Prep
    • Conducting a Taxathon

These sessions will bring experts and new practitioners together to share model practices in an open discussion format.

If you have something to share that may help others serve taxpayers in their community in other parts of the state, you are invited to participate in this session!

If you have something to learn from others that may help you serve taxpayers in your community, you are invited to participate in this session!

The format for this session will be different than most "webinars"--the content will not be presentation-based, but interactive, using voice, chat box, polling, and other features to allow for optimal engagement and sharing!

Register and arrive ready to "jump in" with your best practices, questions, insights, opinions, perspectives, thought and ideas!  Invite peers and colleagues to join the session!

    Together, we serve better!

2017 Prosperity Regional Roundtable session is coming to a location near you!

This year’s gatherings, formerly known as FPP Prosperity Town Hall Meetings, bring together community leaders from many varied professions, purposes, practices, passions and pursuits to generate lively, meaningful conversation on what we can do to achieve Collective Impact on the mission-critical topic focus area of Youth Financial Education.

Yet these Regional Roundtables will be more than mere presentations and conversations.  Desired outcomes include action plans that encourage community, regional and statewide movements to “lock arms” in collaboration to enhance, increase and improve financial education for our youth.  Further, FPP and partner organizations will mine and cull financial education resources to share with others across the state who may benefit.

Participants will include Prosperity Coalition members, financial institutions, state and federal government leadership, educational leaders, and representatives from youth organizations, community organizations, at-risk/underserved population services and senior organizations.

Any and all who care about preparing the next generation for their financial future are encouraged to participate!
